Account Executive – Public Relations
Summary & Overview of the Position
As an Account Executive-Public Relations, you will have the opportunity to work across markets such as US, UK, Singapore, and India and will be responsible for executing plans in line with Gutenberg’s growth trajectory.
If you are a self-starter, proactive, someone who looks to take initiative, and can thrive in a young, entrepreneurial environment, this role will be most suited for you, as you develop and grow your expertise multi geographically.
Primary responsibilities for Account Executive include and are not restricted to the following:
Client Servicing:
- Support multiple client accounts in execution of the client Public Relations (PR) plan. Regular responsibilities include media/news tracking, reporting, drafting press releases and articles, developing client and management profiles, coordinating media events, following up with media contacts and responding to client inquiries and requests.
- Liaison with clients daily to build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships.
- Develop and leverage independent media relationships across all media. May conduct social media campaigns or manage client social media accounts.
- Responsible for ensuring all processes are adhered to and documentation related to clients’ accounts are up to date and maintained in a timely manner.
- Create quality content for all client deliverables
Knowledge sharing:
- Ensure best-practice development and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Knowledge resource for clients and client’s competitive landscape.
- Stay current with latest PR trends and tools
Additional responsibilities:
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality while juggling multiple channels of activity and a demonstrated ability to work independently, managing own time, and prioritizing effectively.
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations /Communications/Media/Marketing or related fields
- 1.5 to 2 years of corporate/PR experience working with consumer/B2C Brands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of contemporary media and its operations
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
- Ability to take initiative and work without constant supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation
- A creative mindset.
